Insulfrax fiber chemistry has been combined with Alkegen’s proprietary fiber spinning technology to create a low bio-persistent (LBP) blanket with physical properties enhanced to improve both thermal performance and handling.
Insulfrax LT Blanket is a flexible, strong, lightweight, needled blanket produced from Insulfrax Fiber with lower amounts of shot content. Since Insulfrax LT Blanket is completely inorganic, the product exhibits no smoke generation or outgassing in service. Insulfrax LT Blanket combines low thermal conductivity with excellent resistance to thermal shock.
This versatility, combined with a range of densities and thicknesses, makes it adaptable for multiple applications. Particularly effective in high-temperature environments, it is a reliable, safe, and compliant choice for industries.
Note that high humidity and wetting with water prior to service has little effect on Insulfrax LT Blanket.
