FyreWrap DPS is an innovative dryer protection system that provides a safe and cost-effective solution to comply with building code requirements for one hour fire resistance rated enclosure required in many multi-residential projects.
FyreWrap Elite 1.5 duct insulation is a single layer flexible duct wrap enclosure for 1- and 2-hour fire-rated air distribution systems (ADS ducts). Our Elite line of products include smoke control, hazardous exhaust, laboratory chemical fume, stairwell and vestibule pressurization, ventilation, supply/return ducts, commercial dryer exhaust, as well as refuse and linen chutes. Our FyreWrap Elite can be also used as a two-layer system for protecting commercial kitchen grease ducts.

Alkegenās FyreWrap Cable Insulation is a thin, flexible, insulation wrap designed to provide a fire-protective enclosure around cable trays and conduit. Our FyreWrap system ensures electrical circuit integrity during exposure to an external hydrocarbon fire, permitting continued operation or controlled shutdown of critical equipment during emergency conditions. This system is FM Global Approved and meets ASTM E-1725 āFire Tests of Fire-Resistive Barrier Systems for Electrical System Components,ā the newest industry standard, requiring the highest level of performance for trays with zero to full cable loading. The system also meets ASTM E-1529 and provides circuit integrity ratings.
FyreWrap Plenum Insulation is a high-temperature insulation material specifically designed to provide a single layer, flexible enclosure around combustible items located within fire-rated return air plenums. New construction, building renovations or modifications to the electrical and mechanical systems may result in the installation of plastic pipe or plastic-coated cables that cannot meet the minimum combustibility requirements defined in the Mechanical Code. Our FyreWrap Plenum provides fire protection for these installed items by preventing flame propagation and smoke development in the plenum area.

Alkegen manufactures geotextiles that are permeable technical textiles made of synthetic fibers used in civil engineering, environmental and landscape architecture works to separate, filter, improve drainage, reinforce and distribute loads more evenly on soils and surfaces. They are permanent and insensitive to acids found in a natural state in soil which gives them a lifespan exceeding that of the works they protect.
Our geomembrane solutions are made of thermoplastic materials such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride and polypropylene. They are developed to satisfy the design requirements of waterproof water-barrier systems. Several specialized geomembranes can, in addition to making works waterproof, meet particular needs such as increased chemical resistance, resistance to low temperatures, compatibility with drinking water, etc.
Geogrids are flexible structures presenting openings of various shapes and sizes used to reinforce the upper foundation layer or even the paving by strengthening them thus extending the lifespan of the works. These grids are made of materials resistant to physical degradation and loss of rigidity caused by chemically aggressive environments. Geogrids resist elongation due to creeping and bear large traction loads.
The Draintube line is a family of patented products offering geocomposites for drainage and filtration made up of regularly perforated minidrains, spaced between two or three geotextile sheets. The diameter and spacing of the minidrains as well as the geotextiles used are selected and validated for each project according to the hydraulic and geotechnical characteristics of the site. The geocomposite is thus optimized in terms of cost and performance. Draintube allows the drainage of liquids and gases in civil engineering applications, sports fields, buildings, landfill cells, polluted soils and mining and gas operations.
Our Geodrains are geocomposites manufactured to evacuate infiltrating water and filter fine particles. They replace and reduce to a minimum conventional and natural underground drainage systems. The presence of geodrains allows economical and ecological replacement of drainage systems made of conventional materials while permitting a better reduction of water content in works, thus reducing one of the major causes of their degradation.
Geovegetation products are natural or synthetic mats designed to minimize the impact of natural elements such as rain, running water and wind on soils. These temporary or permanent solutions specifically chosen due to environmental constraints provide additional protection by reinforcing soil, minimizing erosion and promoting vegetation regrowth.
Geobarriers are designed to prevent the migration of loose soil into drainage ditches and rivers during construction work. Generally, factory-assembled and composed of a geotextile curtain, their use is compulsory almost everywhere in North America. These barriers can also consist of booms immersed in lakes and rivers. The use of this type of product is considered as one of the first best practices for managing erosion and its adverse impacts on the environment. Some geosynthetics are also used as root-control barriers for infrastructure protection.
Our engineered self-supported, scrim-reinforced and TPU coated felts are used in a variety of Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) applications. We design, test, and produce innovative CIPP materials, such as RAD-FLEXĀ®, having standard and tailored properties. It consists of seven-layer co-extruded barriers made from state-of-the-art polyethylene and EVOH resins to provide unmatched impact strength as well as superior resistance to gas and moisture transmission. VaporBlock Plus is a highly resilient under slab and wall barrier designed to restrict naturally occurring gases from migrating through the ground and concrete slab.
Our polyester fleece was specifically designed to serve as a reinforcing membrane in the PMMA liquid-applied system. Our lightweight nonwoven improves physical properties such as tear strength and puncture resistance. The great capillarity of our polyester nonwoven allows high absorption of PMMA, creating a perfect bond with the resin. We can manufacture roofing fleece in a weight range of 90 to 200 g/mĀ².
